1. What are the relations between the newly-born Youth Council and WEC?

- Initially the Council was established within the framework of the 20^th World Energy Congress. To say that there are no relations at all would be strange and far from reality. For the 60 years of its existence WEC has gained quite an experience in the field of Energy, has earned a great reputation and won respect all over the world. It would be unwise “not to drink water from this well”. Thus, we believe that the YWEEC will operate under the patronage of the World Energy Congress

2. Is the YWEEC a political organization financed by a government?

- No, the YWEEC is an independent international organization. It is financed by organizations interested in promoting their goods by the means of advertising via the YWEEC; and in the long-term the YWEEC will finance itself with the help of its certificate activity, though during the initial period the interstate and state support is required

3. What is the current stage of the YWEEC work?

- The YWEEC is in the preparatory stage of its work. The organizing committee shall be established during the 20th WEC in Rome which shall guide the YWEEC into the establishing stage.

4. Is the YWEEC any sort of a party which is carrying the propaganda of energy-safe life?

- The YWEEC is not a party, but an organization. Promoting energy-saving technologies is one of the tasks of the YWEEC but not by the means of a party-like propaganda.

5. Why does the world need the YWEEC?

- The YWEEC is needed because there is no other organization that would prepare scientists and specialists in the energy field for their future work in the international level to solve the global energy issues.

6. What is the practical purpose of the YWEEC?

- The purpose of the YWEEC is medium- and long-term planning of developing a global power system in the world with the aim of steady development of the human civilization.

7. How can a person interested in the energy field contribute to the YWEEC work?

- Anyone can register at the YWWEC website http.www.yweec.org and participate in the forum discussion to suggest one’s own ideas for implementation. Then the suggestion will be discussed in the YWEEC session and a Task Force will be formed to carry out the implementation.

- The YWEEC is of high importance because the energy issues are vital at all levels – global as well as local – therefore an international organization aimed at long-term planning and projecting shall deal with such issues.
